Hybrid Diaper Systems

All-in-two cloth diapers are comprised of a waterproof cover and separate absorbent insert. Unlike all-in-one diapers, the insert is either snapped to or laid on top of the diaper cover rather than sewn to the diaper shell itself. The advantage of an all-in-two is the ability to reuse the diaper cover if it is not soiled. Simply remove the insert from the cover and replace with a fresh one. We typically recommend 1 cover for every 3 inserts.

the flip system, by the makers of bumGenius, is an all in two or hybrid style cloth diaper. The cloth diaper shell, or cloth diaper cover features snap closures. When you change baby, you can reuse the diaper cover multiple times, requiring you to only change out the insert at each diaper change unless the cover is soiled. the flip system offers the choice of a stay-dry microfiber insert, or a super thirsty organic cotton insert that is fantastic for overnight diapering as well as daytime diapering. Additionally, flip makes a disposable insert which is great for on-the-go travelling.

GroVia Hybrid System
The GroVia all in two or hybrid system pairs a grovia shell with snap-in organic soaker pads. At each diaper change, just change out the soaker pad and snap a new one in place. You can re-use the cover so long as it is not soiled. The GroVia shells are available in both aplix and snap closure, in a wide selection of prints and colors. GroVia also makes a disposable insert that can be paired with the cover.

Thirsties
The Thirsties all in two system pairs their duo wrap or duo diaper cover with either the Thirsties Stay Dry Duo insert or the Thirsties Hemp Prefold. Either of these inserts are just laid inside the diaper cover and then you fasten the cover on baby. Much like the GroVia shells, the Thirsties wraps are available in your choice of snap or velcro closure.
