Are your cloth diapers smelling a little funky? Not absorbing as you’d like? It might be time to give them a good stripping with a little help from RLR.

Although the ingredients are proprietary, RLR is mostly sodium bicarbonate based (ie, baking soda) yet works wonders on a level well beyond simply using baking soda.

If you have a front loading machine, use half a pack of RLR in with  your detergent and then run as many rinse cycles as necessary until you no longer see any bubbles. If you have a top loading machine, use the full pack of RLR and once again keep running rinse cycles until there are no bubbles.

Many folks like to use RLR once per month as maintenance routine to keep your diapers in tip-top shape. At only a little over $2 per package, it’s an uber affordable way to keep your cloth diaper fluff in tip-top shape.

Although the name implies that these inserts are intended to be used with the flip diaper covers, you have an option of using them inside any cloth diaper cover. They are great for when you’re travelling, or heading somewhere that you don’t have easy access to a washing machine for doing cloth diaper laundry. Shaped in a rectangle, you simply lay them in place, fasten the diaper cover on baby and you’re good to go!
